Meet Dr. Christina Manders: Expanding Care at Dragonfly Menopause Care

I have some exciting news to share.

One of my goals for Dragonfly Menopause Care has always been to increase access to high-quality menopause care without compromising the experience that makes Dragonfly special. Today, I am thrilled to introduce the physician who will help make that possible: Dr. Christina Manders.

As Dragonfly has grown, I have often found myself wondering what the future of the practice might look like. If I was ever going to welcome another physician to Dragonfly, she would need to share the values that built this practice—taking time to listen, educating women about their options, and providing individualized care rooted in both science and compassion.

I wasn't actively searching.

Dr. Christina Manders came into my life first as a patient and acquaintance. As I got to know her and learned she might be interested in joining Dragonfly, I immediately knew she was someone I could not pass up.

Dr. Manders is a board-certified family medicine physician who has cared for patients in the South Metro since 2009. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, attended Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her Family Medicine residency at Mayo Clinic.

Throughout her career, she has been known for her whole-person approach to medicine and her belief in taking the time to truly hear her patients. After spending the past four years in medical education, she felt a strong pull back to clinical care where she could build lasting relationships and provide the kind of personalized care that first drew her to family medicine.

Her own experience as a patient at Dragonfly helped solidify her interest in menopause-focused care. She understands firsthand the difference that listening, education, and individualized treatment can make during perimenopause and menopause and is passionate about helping women feel informed, supported, and confident in their health decisions.

More importantly, she is exactly the kind of physician I would want caring for my own family.

Dr. Manders is currently completing her menopause certification and advanced training in evidence-based menopause care. She brings years of clinical experience, a love of learning, and a genuine desire to help women thrive in midlife and beyond.

Beginning in July, Dr. Manders will be accepting new patients into her own practice at Dragonfly Menopause Care in Chanhassen, Minnesota. She will provide comprehensive perimenopause and menopause care, including hormone therapy, symptom management, and individualized treatment plans designed to help women feel their best during midlife and beyond.

Current Dragonfly patients will continue their care with me. Dr. Manders will be building her own patient panel, allowing more women to access the personalized menopause care that has become the foundation of Dragonfly.

Appointments with Dr. Manders may be scheduled starting in July.

I have complete confidence in Dr. Manders and could not be more excited to welcome her to our team. I know many of you will come to appreciate her warmth, knowledge, and dedication as much as I do.

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Christina Manders to Dragonfly Menopause Care.

With gratitude,

Dr. Christa Waymire
